This month the Yachats Lions are cooking for all. We will be having Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chile (Vegetarian) with Beans, Coleslaw (David’s Grandmother’s recipe), Potato Salad (Candi’s Big Dog BBQ recipe), and a selection of Cupcakes from Shirley. Of course, there will be all the fixings so each person can customize their meal. The June Lunch Bunch will be on Thursday, June 19th, 1200N at the Yachats Lions Hall.
We also are celebrating the Summer Solstice on June 20th to start off our summer and will be recognizing Flag Day that just happened on June 14th. Each year the Yachats and Waldport Lions presents Flags to the First-Grade classes at Crestview Heights Elementary. There will be one flag at each table for one of you to take home for your very own.
A donation of $5 is suggested but no one will be turned away from a hot meal.
